
Chanel Fragrance Discovery
Started from an internal taskforce to reimagine how we bring fragrances to customers, Chanel Fragrance Discovery is an innovative tool that uses image association and blind scenting to connect clients to fragrances.
The latest iteration features a semi-permenant build that begins with a client clicking the ipad screen to start the experience and then seeing a series of image pairings to choose from. Based on their selections, an algorithm indicates the numbers of which three fragrances they should scent. The same three numbers are illuminated to bring the customer from the digital back into the real world. From there the customer indicates which of the three fragrances they prefer. To conclude the experience, the e-glass unfogs to reveal the three fragrances they scented and the screen indicates which one they preferred along with information on each.
If the customer chooses, they can opt in to receive an email with the fragrance journey. All of this is done in five minutes or less.
